About LOOM IN A TUBE™

Weaving is perhaps the oldest craft form invented by humankind. I have been lucky to have it as part of my life for the past 25 years. I want to share my excitement and expertise by encouraging more people to enjoy the beauty of this art form. My roles as artist, teacher and promoter of weaving coalesced into the creation of the Loom in a Tube™ family of products. Many times in book and hobby stores, I have been disappointed by the absence of weaving topics among the multitude of kits and books covering knitting, needlepoint, quilting, and possibly every other craft form known to exist.

I decided to create a product line that would bring the opportunity to learn to weave to a lot more people in a lot more places.  By providing the tools, materials and instructions for learning to weave in one convenient format, I strive to make learning to weave accessible, affordable, and fun!.

I dedicate this endeavor to my mother, who encouraged me in everything but was especially proud of me in the role of teacher.
