This off-loom technique uses a coiling tool to create beads by wrapping yarn around a coiled wire core. Make beads of all shapes and sizes for jewelry and other craft uses. This is a great use for left bits of yarn: you'll need less than a yard of yarn for a basic bead.

20 yard spool of 22g non-tarnishing gold craft wire. Recommended size to use for wire coil.

30 yard spool of 24g non-tarnishing gold craft wire. Recommended for over-wrapping fiber bead.

warp bar

The warp bar eliminates the need to untie the ends of the warp when you advance it. Especially useful for long projects. Illustrated instructions are provided.

wing nuts

Wing nuts make it easier to tighten the warp tension. Especially useful for wide warps. Replace the upper hex nuts with a pair of zinc-plated wing nuts.
